Basma is known for her casual elegance, seamlessly blending form along with function, she likes to create spaces that are beautiful and sophisticated, yet thoughtful and inviting.     

Basma has always been drawn to the creative and artful nature of the world around her.  Although, she chose the 'practical' path in undergrad, she eventually found her way to Interior Design in graduate school and has been following her passion ever since.  

She gained valuable design experience working at a high-end residential firm assisting notable DC clientele.  Additionally, her experience includes working with various architects and builders designing commercial and federal work spaces.  She is well versed in interior architecture, interior building codes, space planning, finish and paint selections, renovations, lighting, built-ins, kitchens, baths, accessorizing and styling of finishing touches. 

Basma holds a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture and Design from George Washington University and an Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management with a minor in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University.  

She is also a Certified Project Management Professional and an NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer.
